What is Insulin?
The word insulin comes from the Latin word ‘insula’, which means “island”. The origin of the name ‘insulin’ is from its origin. The human body has a gland called the pancreas located just behind the stomach. This gland contains millions of “Islets of Langerhans” cells. Insulin is produced from the part of the beta cells inside these cells, which is why it is so named.
Insulin is a type of hormone. It is the main regulator of blood glucose levels. In general, insulin is a type of hormone produced by the beta cells of the islets of Langerhans inside our pancreas. It is also called old protein.
Why is the body lacking insulin?
Lack of insulin in the body can also be due to hereditary factors or bacterial infections. Usually responsible for one type of virus. They attack the pancreatic cells that produce insulin by breaking down the body’s normal immune system. The virus hides in the body and produces a substance called supertegen. This supertigens over-activate the lymphocytes, the main soldiers of the body’s immune system. These then attack the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. As a result, insulin production is impaired. Thus there is a lack of insulin in the blood. Diabetes later begins.
Insulin helps blood and plasma-containing glucose pass through the cell membrane and enter the cell. As a result, glucose, the energy component of the cell, increases. When blood glucose levels rise, the news reaches the cells through the arterial blood in the pancreas. And then there is the increase in insulin production.
In the opposite case, when relatively low glucose concentrations of blood flow to the beta cells, the beta cells reduce their insulin production as needed.
Insulin secretion from the pancreas depends on a few more factors. Such as – food. Our digestive tract secretes certain hormones from the stomach, pancreas, and other organs. When all these hormones, especially gastrin, secretin, pancreas, enteroglocogen are mixed in the blood, insulin production increases.
On the other hand, Insulin production is reduced during diabetes, lack of oxygen, severe burns, operations, severe mental disorders, etc.
We need to walk or exercise to use insulin. As a result of physical labor, the special sensations present only on the optional muscles of the animal become more sensitive to insulin. Therefore, even the relatively low insulin present within the blood then has the power to inject more glucose into the muscle cells.

So, if someone has diabetes, this problem of glucose gets worse. In the absence of insulin, blood glucose no longer enters the cell properly. As a result, one after another various physical disabilities came and the crowd gathered.
The function of insulin:
The function of insulin is to allow glucose molecules to enter different cells. Our bodies have several insulin receptors. These receptors act as gatekeepers, making it easier for glucose to enter. Insulin cannot enter glucose even if it has enough receptors. As a result, the energy supply of glucose to the body is interrupted. Exercise increases the number of receptors, as well as the effectiveness of insulin.
